The last rescues of 2022 were two puppies saved from the dog slaughterhouse.
We recently rescued a mother Jindo dog, whose slaughter date had already been determined. In fact, the owner already had plans to share the dog meat with his neighbors. We could not rescue her puppies at the time because the owner stubbornly resisted giving them up. However, it was evident that the puppies were destined to follow the same path their mother had been on. Despite our financial difficulties, we managed to ultimately rescue these puppies. It was not easy to persuade the owner. Still, after a long and arduous process, the owner surrendered possession, agreed to demolish the doghouses and promised he would never raise dogs again.
These puppies had been hiding in a dark corner since their mother disappeared. We spent time calming them down before taking them out of that dark place. They have been named “Rinta” and “Kayo,” and both will start a new life this New Year. To help Rinta and Kayo in their new lives, we would appreciate any financial support you can provide. Thank you for your donations to help these last two rescues of 2022!
