Chuncheon (Gangwon Province) arrested CARE activists working to shut down illegal dog slaughterhouses in Chuncheon.

While working toward the closure of multiple dog slaughterhouses in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, Coexistence of Animal Rights on Earth (CARE) activists were unjustly arrested by the Chuncheon Police. We had sent emails to Chuncheon’s Friendship city in Vejle, Denmark, and Gangwon province’s Sister State, Colorado in the U.S. asking for their help in releasing the activists immediately and to shut down the massive illegal dog meat industry in Gangwon province.

📧 We sent an email to the Gangwon Province’s Sister State, Colorado‘s Governor Jared Polis, on 9/16/2023.
