Daepoong is truly a strong soul. He not only survived two days tied in a blazing fire, enduring the agony of his entire body burning and charring, but he has also bravely and diligently endured his treatment with a strong will and a gentle heart. Among all the animals CARE rescued from this fire, Bbibbi and Daepoong likely suffered the most severe burns.

Daepoong has now undergone a second surgery, receiving exosome treatment for skin regeneration, skin grafts, and tail amputation. His teeth were broken from desperately trying to free himself from the rope — another surgery he will have to endure in the future. The burned skin caused nutrient loss through open wounds, leading to high levels of anemia, but thanks to meticulous care, his condition has improved significantly.

The head veterinarian at VIP Animal Hospital instructed his medical team, “Provide Daepoong with every available treatment, without holding anything back.” Daepoong’s cheerfulness and smile grow brighter by the day, which must mean his pain is slowly easing.
