BTS (방탄소년단) are a well-known K-Pop group in Korea and around the world; they have become fabulously wealthy through the production of their many hit albums, sold out concerts, and appearances on television.

They can boast good looks, talent — and now fame and fortune, because their fans love them and the entertainment and music world wants them.

So we are now asking for them to do their bit in return, by being the public ‘face’ of the opposition to the appalling dog and cat-meat trades in South Korea.

There is no limit to the cruelty and abuse that is carried out within these shameful trades, and there is nothing that these traders won’t do to turn a profit. But there must be a limit on how long these abhorrent trades can be allowed to continue.

BTS, we ask that you please help us to light up the darkness for these animals by publicly denouncing the dog and cat-meat trades in South Korea. Will you speak out and help us?
